Utilizing effective techniques that will allow them the freedom to accomplish their goal of healing and recovery! I take it personal in providing my clients with an environment that is safe, where their voices are heard, empowered and without judgment.

Over 20 years of working with individuals and couples, I have developed expertise working with a variety of issues, including: low mood, low motivation, anxiety, creative blocks, feeling "stuck" (in any area of life), relationship issues, work or career issues, anger management, addictions, compulsive behavior, and personal growth. My approach is client-centered and collaborative. Together we will work to clarify your goals, and develop a plan that will help you achieve them as quickly as possible. To help you actualize those goals I utilize a variety of modalities, including mindfulness therapy, interpersonal therapy and psychoeducational approaches.

I work with individuals, couples and families ages 12 and up and from all backgrounds. As a therapist, I work with clients to foster their current strengths and help them build new ones empowering them to deal with life's challenges successfully. I understand the importance of accepting that our unique personalities and experiences make us who we are and I focus on helping clients discover ways to make those strengths work in the context of life (school, work and relationships). I enjoy working with a diverse range of clientele and offer a free initial phone consultation.

I am an experienced Mental Health Administrator and Licensed Psychologist with a demonstrated history of working in both the higher education industry and private clinical practice. I have worked in the areas of college student mental health, clinical administration, cultural competency, diversity and inclusion, performance and motivation, and social justice.

What all parents want is to successfully launch their children as independent adults. This can be a daunting task in today's world. The time to identify and solve problems in this process is as early as possible. I offer both short-term and long-term interventions for children and the adults in their lives. I also work with adults to help you identify and change stuck patterns of thought and feeling to move ahead in life.
