My goal is help my clients achieve a harmonious life. I believe that all people have the power within themselves to achieve health and wholeness that includes a peaceful state of mind, a nurtured soul and healing. Utilizing a holistic approach, I teaches my clients how to reduce their chronic stress reactivity and build resilience to life’s perpetual stressors. I often draw on mindfulness therapy techniques in addition to techniques such as EMDR to help the autonomic nervous system detect safety and regulate emotions effectively. I am fluent in Farsi and Azeri/Turkish language and consider myself to be a multicultural provider.

Healing is a process that it is not linear and it will require work, but it is worth the journey.

I offer counseling that allows the client to choose their path to more effective living by their own definition. If they haven't determined that definition, my role is to provide the opportunity to explore their options and guide experiences to facilitate reflection and action. I work very well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and related disorders. I also enjoy exploring the mind-body connection with clients experiencing eating disorders and other related concerns. As a veteran, one of my motivations to begin counseling was to support active service members, Veterans, and their families.
