I offer one-on-one psychotherapy with adults who wish to suffer less. As Haruki Murakami wrote, “Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.” I am an integrative therapist, drawing from various traditions to provide patients a unique, tailored therapeutic experience, generally working in a humanistic and contemplative framework. I treat a variety of conditions; please inquire about specific needs. Areas of specialty include trauma/PTSD (including chronic/complex trauma), grief/loss, mindfulness/meditation, support for chronic illness, relational issues, and dynamics related to narcissistic/borderline/personality disorders.

I am offering telehealth sessions using internet and telephone options! I believe that you are endowed with the power and energy to overcome any obstacle in life but sometimes, when overwhelmed with life's challenges, you lose contact with your own power. I can help you regain balance in life and regain forward momentum to living the life you are destined to live. I am particularly interested in working with yindividuals and couples struggling with life transitions, those who are walking through loss, and those struggling with addictions and/or substance abuse.

I obtained my Master's Degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008, and have dedicated over thirty years to pastoral and counseling roles. With a warm and friendly Christian perspective, I am here to assist you in navigating your emotions and challenging thought patterns. My counseling style is laid back, and empathetic. I use gentle guidance, and practical instruction to help you redirect problematic thinking patterns. I believe in building a collaborative partnership with my clients.

I am both a Professional Counselor and Rehabilitation Counselor. I conduct therapy sessions in English and in Spanish.
