I am dually licensed LCSW, LCADC and a graduate of Rutgers University where I obtained my Masters in Social Work along with specialized training and a certificate in Addictions Counseling. I am a firm believer in building a therapeutic relationship which is based upon providing positive and client centered empathy and care in a nonrestrictive and culturally safe environment. My primary objective is to provide a comfortable and life changing experience through the change process of mental health wellness and/or addictions recovery.

Accepting new clients! Dr. Jeff’s wide range of clinical experience entails adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. While pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, he completed an externship at the Rutgers College Counseling Center where he worked with college students and spent two years at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City where he received psychoanalytic training and supervision in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a permit to practice psychology in NJ.

I am a depression and anxiety therapist in New Jersey. I am dedicated to providing personalized care that addresses the needs of my patients and aims to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive and comfortable. My experience lies in working with clients dealing with various challenges, such as recurrent depressive thoughts, frequent anxiety, panic attacks, past traumatic experiences, emotional instability, overwhelming stress, and communication difficulties. I work with both adults and children, as well as families, with a focus on boosting emotional awareness, teaching parenting skills, and establishing healthy relationship boundaries.

Over 30 years experience in the Human Services field: Marriage/Couples counseling, Separation Mediation, Multi-talent in Behavioral Health, Mental health Disorders, Substance abuse & Addiction disorders, and Co-occurring & Dual diagnosis disorders populations. Dedicated as a professional to ensure that the health and well being of the consumers are met and that each consumer receive the proper individualized treatment course of action with professional and ethical implementation. I also provide Tele-Therapy/Health sessions. I am also a Veteran of the Armed Forces "Army"..... And open to my brother & sister Veterans to server.

My eclectic, therapeutic approach is to treat each client uniquely, while providing the support required to empower & attain a full and productive life. Life can sometimes be difficult and there are times when we may need help to navigate our way through it. I'm a unique therapist that treats a wide array of mental health disorders. We focus on resolving past and current issues/trauma, finding solutions and eliciting organic change. If we are not solving your problems, I am wasting your time. My practice goes far beyond talk therapy, we do work. We explore childhood, adolescent and other lifetime experiences that impact our psychological functioning. To permanently resolve our disorders we must revisit and resolve these thoughts, feelings and events. I utilize DBT as part of my treatment approach and we engage from the first minute we meet.

I have been in practice for over 30 years, working with couples, individuals, children and families. I use many therapeutic tools depending on my clients' individual needs. These include: helping clients look at the negative things they tell themselves; discover how their problem(s) arose, which often ends a cycle of shame and self-blame; learn the interpersonal skills they lack and then devise homework assignments to practice new skills. I often use hypnosis to address issues on a deeper level than our conscious will. Finally I help my couples and families to understand and change destructive patterns of interaction.
