I am a bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Independent Mental Health Therapist (LIMHP) in Nebraska, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I've had the privilege to work for non-profit organizations and in a dual diagnosis clinic. I've had the opportunity to be a board member of various nonprofit organizations in Nebraska advocating for equitable mental health. I am also one of the first Latine adjunct professors at the University of Nebraska Counseling Department. If you are looking for a therapist that is community driven I am that person.

I am a licensed Therapist practicing in Omaha Nebraska at Kairos Psychological. For the past 22 years I have had the honor of working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or general life transitions. I enjoy helping people make positive changes in their lives. I treat adults and adolescents with addictive behaviors, depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, and/or trauma history. I also help to guide family members of those with addictions. I enjoy seeing the progress that people make in all areas of their life when they are able to put aside addictive behaviors, reduce their emotional pain, and genuinely feel better about themselves. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and have used it to help people heal from trauma and reduce overall anxiety. I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Theory in my approach.
