I have a passion for working with people, which allows me to provide a personalized client-centered approach. I am trained in Gottman relationship counseling and have extensive experience in substance abuse and individual counseling. I also have experience working with mood and cognitive disorders such as depression/anxiety.
Prior to counseling, I worked for 5-years in the child-welfare system. Thus, I knew I could do more to help individuals and families adjust to the struggles of daily life. I enjoy problem solving and do not become easily discouraged by difficult situations. I appreciate the opportunity of working with you, and together we can identify and reach your goals.
