I am Certified in EMDR which we use to process memories that may trigger a trauma response or the desire to use drugs. Some of our Trauma/PTSD processing has included Sexual Assault, Grief, Domestic Volience, In the line of Duty-Service Workers, TBI, and the loss of Employment. I work with clients with Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. My approach is tailored to you and your specific needs. I offer counseling for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and women's issues. As a family systems therapist, I view clients from the perspective of their holistic environment. Together we will look at where you are coming from, and where you want to go. I work with clients between 13-80 experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, marital conflict, family conflict, major life adjustments, adolescent issues, parenting issues, men’s issues, and more. I also work with couples and families to improve communication, process trauma, and enhance relationships. There is a soft spot in my heart for teens, young families, couples, men, and those who grieve.

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to understand their personal patterns, diving into their capacity and ability for change, and working to achieve the goals that they feel are specific and central to their life experience. Clients who enjoy welcoming curiosity to their experience and finding compassion for themselves at every part of their personal journey, makes this work most satisfying.

While I've spent years supporting children and their families as a child therapist, I am also trained in exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) for specific phobias and specialize in working with both children and adults who struggle with big emotions, symptoms of OCD, anxiety, life transitions, school avoidance, and ADHD. I currently only provide services via telehealth and am available on Saturdays and Sundays.

I utilize a collaborative and present-focused approach to help clients learn how to effect immediate change in their lives. I treat an array of mental health concerns via cognitive-behavioral and related approaches. My special interests include psychological assessment and treating severe mental illness, personality disorders, and PTSD/trauma.
