I provide a safe place for you to explore issues that are posing difficulties in the various areas of your life. I have a personal testimony. My discipline in the counseling field target comorbidity in individuals. I facilitate substance-use groups. I provide you with the tools to assist you to gain control of your life. My primary therapeutic method is CBT, ACRA and ARISE Life skills for youth ages 6-18. When you change your thoughts, your behavior will follow, your life will change. Other therapeutic approaches used include DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Family Systems Therapy; evidenced-based therapies approved by North Carolina. I can travel if the need arises.
You deserve to know how your thoughts/feelings can work against you and create adverse behaviors. I have a safe place for your to rediscover yourself.
