I provide a safe place for you to explore issues that are posing difficulties in the various areas of your life. I have a personal testimony. My discipline in the counseling field target comorbidity in individuals. I facilitate substance-use groups. I provide you with the tools to assist you to gain control of your life. I won't tell you how much I know until you see how much I care. If life is not becoming to you, then you should come to me. Let me help you gain control.
My primary therapeutic method is CBT, ACRA and ARISE Life skills for youth ages 6-18. When you change your thoughts, your behavior will follow, your life will change. Other therapeutic approaches used include DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Family Systems Therapy; evidenced-based therapies approved by North Carolina. I can travel if the need arises.
You deserve to know how your thoughts/feelings can work against you and create adverse behaviors. I have a safe place for your to rediscover yourself.
