My approach as a therapist is direct and deeply inquisitive. I ask a lot of
questions because I am genuinely invested in making sense of your story,
helping you identify patterns, and maybe helping you think about things in
a way that you haven’t considered before. I’m going to be real with you in
the most authentically loving way, because I’m on your team and want
nothing but the best for you.
My favorite population to work with is teenagers. As a mom to three teenagers, I've learned to speak the language. I also love working with adults with ADHD, OCD/specific phobias, or in need of processing trauma.
Most clients come to me seeking EMDR therapy, which I am fully trained to provide. I am also trained in Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Processing, Exposure Response Prevention, and DBT.
I am constantly learning about the best ways to support neurodivergent folks as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.
I work hard to meet people where they are without judgment. Our therapy sessions will have hilarious moments, challenging moments, and healing moments.
