I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago. During my educational journey, I had the privilege of completing my pre-doctoral internship at Hazelden Betty Ford’s Center for Teens, Young Adults, and Families. In this esteemed institution, I had the unique opportunity to work closely with adolescents and young adults who were grappling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. My professional path has encompassed a diverse range of settings, including a community mental center, a research hospital, and private practice, where I specialized in neuropsychological assessments.

The struggle is real! As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I work with children/teens and adults individually, and strive to provide my clients a safe, open space where they can feel at ease to begin the therapeutic process. I aim to meet all my clients where they are at & provide unconditional positive regard for each unique experience that is brought to the table. Seeking out help is a sign of strength, & I work with my clients to develop healthy strategies to manage the challenges they are faced with. With training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, I help my clients regain their sense of power over their lives.

My goal as a therapist is to genuinely connect with and support clients in their journey. It is a privilege to walk with others on their path towards healing and knowing themselves. I strive to make sure my clients feel seen and heard as their true selves, experience warmth and security in the counseling room, and know that I unconditionally accept them. I have been working as a therapist with children, teens, adults, couples and families since I received a Masters of Clinical Social Work from University of Saint Thomas/Saint Catherine University in 2017. I enjoy working with individuals ages 12 through adult. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship with my clients, as well as their life experiences, to meet clients where they are at and encourage growth and movement through their journey.

I currently work with individuals, partners, and families. My area of passion and expertise is gender and sexuality. I also view therapy and self-care as an act of resistance and believe it can help individuals with marginalized identities cope with minority stress and systemic oppression. I work with almost all mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, PTSD/CPTSD, bipolar, personality disorders, DID, and schizophrenia/delusional disorders.
