I take a casual, direct approach to therapy—because meaningful work doesn’t require a formal or overly clinical space to be effective. In my office there’s room for honesty, real conversation, and (dark) humor! My style is compassionate, honest, and focused on helping you make meaningful, practical changes while maintaining self-compassion and self-respect. My work is rooted in helping clients process and move past trauma, build insight, increase flexibility in how they respond to challenges, let go of old patterns and move forward with greater clarity, resilience and effectiveness.
I am experienced in treating adults experiencing depression, PTSD, anxiety, personality changes, anger, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, mood dysregulation, and those navigating life's many transitions. I have extensive experience working with first responders/health care providers/LEO/Fire/Dispatch/EMS/Corrections.
I practice from person-centered, trauma-informed, ACT, CBT, and DBT therapy approaches. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to treat traumatic experiences.
