I enjoy working with individuals experiencing life adjustments, anxiety, depression, and trauma, couples struggling with communication, infidelity, disconnection in the relationship, sexual concerns, divorce or separation, and other life events. I have a special interest in working with women in areas of self-esteem, assertiveness, sexual wellbeing, perfectionism, and co-dependency.

A client who would be a good fit who is an individual or family that want to go to therapy. I don't have preferences when it comes to ages and genders or sexuality. Although kids and teens have gravitated towards me because of my playful nature, and creativity in sessions. I find myself drawn to working with individuals who often people please, carry feelings of guilt, self doubt, and low self esteem. I enjoy watching others identify boundaries and help implement them. I have over a decade of experience as a Psychotherapist, helping clients recover from trauma, manage anxious and depressive symptoms, deconstruct their faith systems, reduce destructive behavioral patterns, sort through charged memories, and deal with their complicated in-laws. I have an eclectic approach, and I specialize in utilizing EMDR, IFS, and CBT frameworks. I truly believe everything is connected, both internally and externally. Thus, it is imperative to account for the 'whole person' in order for therapy to be effective. I also think it's important to laugh once in a while.

It is my experience that the fullest, most satisfying healing involves our whole person, mind, body, and spirit. By focusing on patterns of movement in the body as well as thinking, we work together to achieve your goals for therapy. A body based and energetic focus is often a new and effective way for people to resolve issues that only talking about them did not reach. I look for resistance and protective actions that no longer serve a person. I emphasize developing aliveness in the body, feeling joyful, free, and peace.
