People with bipolar disorder often feel exhausted and trapped by mood swings. You may feel euphoric, impulsive, and on top of the world (or agitated and angry)-and then eventually crash and be filled with hopelessness and despair. Some people may have thoughts of "wishing they weren't here" and "wanting the pain to end." Some folks experience delusions i.e. false beliefs not rooted in reality. However, even if you do not experience this symptom-all struggles with bipolar disorder are serious and deserve treatment.
