I offer treatment for people suffering from anxiety, depression, BPD, anger management, self esteem, trauma, peer relationships and early childhood struggles, and college related struggles.
Hi! I'm Zoe. I believe that we as humans are always searching for something; may that be the ability to heal from past trauma, new hobbies, or to all around feel better about ourselves. My passion is to provide therapy for all; all the while creating an emotionally safe, supportive, and open environment. As we explore a range of thoughts and emotions through your journey of self discovery, we can open up new doors and perspectives; together. Overall, I hope to provide care for individuals who have suffered in invalidating environments that hope to build a life worth living.

Some of my clients have received PTSD, C-PTSD or BPD diagnoses in the past.
It can be a powerful time for trauma work when starting a family of your own. Often my clients are young adults and new parents who are highly self critical to avoid being with messiness and what cannot be controlled. They use alcohol, substances, food, exercise, work/ busyness or caretaking to manage or stay away from feelings. Often they expect the worst and prepare to self protect and can be overly focused on the people around them. My clients share about anxiety or depression since childhood or have complicated family of origin dynamics.

My experience includes working with clients diagnosed with ASD, Personality Disorders, ADHD, DMDD, ODD, Bipolar Disorder, BPD, Depression, PTSD and Anxiety.
Not currently able to accept new clients. I firmly believe in holistic wellness and cater my practice towards helping my clients to achieve their goals. Therapy is only effective when it meets your needs and caters towards you as your own unique self. Therapy is also an expenditure when it comes to time, money and energy. I work collaboratively with my clients to ensure you receive the quality care you deserve. When we combine our strengths, we can create a well-balanced therapeutic relationship.

I am passionate about working with people experiencing symptoms related to borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety and depression.
We all have that voice in our heads saying we are not good enough, not attractive enough, not capable, or somehow inferior. A lifetime of living in a normative culture that dismisses or marginalizes our identities and individuality has led a lot of us to feel uncertain, frightened, anxious, depressed, or struggling with other mental health issues.I am a gender affirming queer positive therapist with a lifelong commitment to social justice that includes advocating for access to mental health care for all.

Self care makes you feel superstitious. Your inner cynic pressures you to accept you can’t get better. You aren’t opposed to therapy per se rather you are agnostic regarding your ‘healing.’ Re-telling the origin story of your pain again bores you, you figure that’s a definite red flag to recovery. Your band of what ifs are loyal friends, who would you be if you ghosted them? You just keep the rowdy bunch to a dull roar and live a life with the least amount of regrets. Years ago talk therapy felt as deep as dishwater, uncomfortable and without an endgame.

I love working with couples and individuals with difficulty in romantic relationships (i.e. sexual issues, communication, infidelity, divorce), adults who come from dysfunctional childhoods, as well as those with anxiety, impulsivity, and addiction. I also enjoy working with those in non-traditional romantic relationships (i.e. ethically non-monogamous, polyamorous). I am LGBTQIA- affirming and sex positive. I work best with clients who are engaged, thoughtful, and motivated for change. My style is empathic and direct, with a sense of humor. I believe strongly in the therapeutic alliance and the client/therapist fit.

I am more interested in what you are experiencing than anything I could tell you about myself. Generally, individuals come to therapy because they have reached a personal impasse and would like an outside perspective.
