Currently, I'm only accepting new clients for sleep disorders. Angry? Feel stuck and insecure in your career or in relationships? Trouble sleeping? Is your self-esteem low? Together, we'll understand what causes repetitive problems and how to overcome them. With over 20 years experience in corporate finance, I understand your work stressors. My approach is that the key element of treatment is a strong working relationship. In a safe, nonjudgmental environment, we'll explore conflicts and obstacles that block you from achieving satisfaction. we'll use the best of CBT, ACT and insight-oriented (psychodynamic) psychotherapy.
Using evidence-based CBT for insomnia (CBT-I), I'll help you to overcome sleep problems. We'll understand your sleep patterns and collaboratively develop goals for a more restful night's sleep. I'm an adjunct assistant professor at Smith College School for Social Work. There, I teach CBT to graduate students and CBT-I to practicing clinicians.
To help my clients more effectively, I've attended two post-graduate psychoanalytic institutes in New York. Most recently, I've trained at the William Alanson White Institute, deepening my skills in relational psychoanalysis.
