Hello! My name is Lillian. Is it time to make a change? Life can be hard and challenges can come up unexpectedly. I want to help you find peace and mental wellness you are seeking by providing a compassionate space and a nonjudgmental ear. My goal is to walk with you through the problem and find peace you are seeking.

I provide an accepting, non-judgmental environment for those seeking help and understanding for the struggles that life brings us. I provide forensic counseling services in the form of child custody evaluations, parenting coordination, court ordered counseling, and divorce counseling. I also work with adults and children who have concerns regarding severe mental illness and dual diagnosis (addiction and a mental illness). Those with anxiety conditions, depression, and adjustment disorders are also welcome in my practice.

My approach to clients is empathic, curious, and compassionate. I offer marriage/premarital counseling and relationship therapy with a focus on navigating healthy communication, conflict resolution, infidelity and intimacy. I work with a variety of couples and individuals in a safe space where all are welcome and LGBTQ+ clients are encouraged. I believe in meeting my clients where they are to highlight your strengths, preferences, and needs. Reaching out to find a therapist who feels like a good fit can be the hardest part of getting started. I take an active approach in fostering personal growth and self-reflection.

I believe we can all greatly benefit from being encouraged to express ourselves, understand our emotions and behaviors, and develop ways to cope and thrive in our environment. Together we will explore who you are, not just through your past experiences but mostly through your present emotions/behaviors and future goals. I approach each session with genuineness, openness and empathy. In my practice, counseling includes conversation and humor; both laughter and tears are important while healing and growing. While I certainly respect that serious matters are discussed in therapy, we can usually find ways to enjoy our progress!

Laura has over 30 years of experience in both public and private mental health settings and has maintained a private practice in Lafayette, LA since 1995. Dr Khan is NO Longer accepting outpatients for medication management, EXCEPT for patients who are requiring Intensive Outpatient level of care at Elemental Health, the new HIGH functioning program located off Goodwood Blvd, here in Baton Rouge. Dr Khan has always been a proponent of Therapy PLUS Medication as the best treatment option, and so he founded this level of service for patients who have not had success with other levels of care.

My name is Lindsey Sudduth and I am a psychotherapist who has been in practice for 17 years. My primary focus is working with school/college age students and young/ middle aged professionals who struggle with trying to find balance, meaning and direction in their lives. I help my clients in working through issues within their past that create barriers in their present. We all long for acceptance and a sense of belonging in this world. I provide clients with an understanding of how to create a genuine sense of self and connection to others.

Whereas the therapist has skills and training, the client is always the expert on themselves and their families.
