I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 26 years of diverse clinical experience. I I have worked with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, anger management, chronic illnesses, caregiver role strain, grief and loss. While working With couples, I help with communication, conflict resolution, parenting issues and goal setting. I understand the range of emotional, behavioral, and life experiences that bring a client into treatment and I am dedicated to support guide, and challenge my client into deepened insight and awareness, and healthy coping through an open and supporting environment.
I specialize in psychotherapy for adults, tailoring my approach to each individual. I have experience working with individuals struggling with challenges such as relationship, employment and parenting struggles. I work with young adults starting out on their own to older adults struggling with loss of health, independence and loss of loved ones.
My work is focused on evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy, but I also incorporate other treatment modalities when appropriate. Our work together will help expand your awareness of self and others, as well as to develop strategies for coping and for positive change.
