Coping with an eating disorder or a traumatic experience sucks. But YOU don't, and your recovery doesn't have to either. It's not your fault that striving for acceptance or relief turned into something that now controls your life. Highly Sensitive People may be more susceptible to food and body image issues, but you also can benefit greatly from therapy and can make some seriously awe-inspiring changes. I've seen it, and it's why I keep doing the work I do. We need more empowered, attuned individuals in this world.
Recovery is a deeply personal process, and it's especially unique for Highly Sensitive People. I love helping HSPs understand and work with their sensitivity, heal the wounds keeping them stuck, and learn to thrive in a, let's face it, pretty crazy world.
