Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my profile! My name is Joey Ritkes (he/him) and I am a therapist who specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ Community. My approach in working with clients is to create a safe, affirming, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable sharing. I tailor my approach to fit the individual client, rather than the other way around. I celebrate the fact that everyone is unique and deserves an approach that meets their own individual goals. I prefer to work collaboratively to develop a plan that honors the distinctive differences in all my clients.

Mental health is complex which means that we must be just as creative and personalized in developing treatment strategies that meet your individualized goals. Our days are excessively demanding, leaving us little time to focus on ourselves. My belief is that therapy is the perfect response which places you at the center, even if only for an hour per week.

You may find yourself seeking information about therapy for a variety of reasons. However, my primary goal is to create an individualized and custom plan to meet your desired goals.
