I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist specializing in relationship and intimacy issues, sex therapy, infidelity, betrayal trauma and sex and porn addiction . I work collaboratively with my clients to facilitate recognition of their strengths so they can actualize self-growth, meet therapy goals, find peace and develop healthy relationships.
Among my favorite interventions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to modify destructive thoughts; Solution Focused Therapy to maximize what already works in your life and Acceptance therapy and mindfulness to relieve anxiety and stress. For many of my clients commitment to 12 step recovery has proven to be a wonderful conjunctive tool.
My clients value my empathic approach in therapy. Sex/porn addiction and sexually acting out are often fueled by secrets and isolation. Healthy Sexuality and Intimacy Group for Men
The men's group provides a safe space to talk about and process your struggle with intimacy. Connecting with a partner or getting yourself out there to date can be challenging in this cyber age. Sexual acting out often leads to shame and isolation, yet being seen and heard by other men is vital to healing. This group helps you to explore personal experiences that fuel sexual issues, examine relapse triggers, move beyond/contain trauma, employ self-compassionate mindfulness and shame reduction.
