My clinical work began in 2002 when I became a Clinical Psychologist in my country of origin. During the past 19 years, I have been serving diverse populations from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, age groups, race, socio-economic status, and distinct spiritual paths. I also offer support and guidance for adoptive families, foster families and legal guardians going through adjustments with caregiving and parenting.

I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. I also have an additional certification for Drug & Alcohol Counseling and Life Coaching and work collaboratively with clients to help build on strengths rather than focusing on deficits. In our sessions, I work with you to develop healthy life skills using proactive therapeutic techniques via phone or Zoom formats enabling you can be in the comfort of your home during a session. I incorporate CBT, Positive Psychology and Solution Focus approaches to teach and encourage healthy communication, mood management strategies and develop effective life skills.

I have over 20 years of experience providing mental health services to families as well as adolescents and adults in individual therapy. When working with teens in particular, one thing I know to be true is that young people are more similar than dissimilar no matter where they come from. Hi, I am Julee Peterson. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently taking new clients. I am interested in helping repair marriages, strengthen the couple bond to help families blend. I'm part of blended family and have walked the difficult starting path and have insight into the nuances of blended family life. What I love most about my work is positively affecting people’s lives through helping them improve communication and understanding between family members and couples. I am specially trained and certified to treat eating disorders, and welcome any person who struggles with issues related to eating, weight or body image. I have been treating eating disorder clients and their families for many years, I have experienced personal recovery myself, and have worked in residential eating disorder and mental health outpatient facilities. I have the knowledge and training to treat underlying issues that fuel eating disorders and other mental health issues, including but not limited to, addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, abuse, trauma and relationship conflict.
