I live and work in the River Valley. Formerly a safety engineer in Chicago, I later trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in The Canadian Rockies. I’ve been practicing for over 14 years and provide a Christ-centered approach to therapy. I have over 8000 hours of experience with youth issues. I enjoy working with couples and families, helping people fall in love again. I have helped many people work through loss, trauma and, also trained in and advanced trauma techniques using EMDR therapy. I have seen many clients with sexual issues. I have experience working with children and adults with autism and dyslexia.

Therapy & Assessment Center (TAC) is a place for clients to find indiviudal purpose and family healing. We treat children (starting at 3 years-old). TAC offers a creative enviroment for children to address emotional and behavior issues through play therapy and behavior modification. TAC has an amazing sensory-based play therapy room that your children will love. TAC takes the time to teach parents creative parenting techniques to use at home. TAC also treats teens and adults of all ages.

I can assist those who struggle with anxiety and depressive distress in developing coping skills. They will create treatment goals that align with their desires that provide improvements in their lives. This primarily applies to those who are ages 6-25 years old. Behavior modification is in congruence with managing anxious and depressive distress with children.

I am a clinical social worker who works with people from ages 14 to Geriatric age. My client base are people who have occupational , substance abuse, mental health, family, and legal issues. I have over 20 years’ experience with adoptive families, children, and attachment. I am passionate about helping family, parents, and children navigate BIG changes in healthy ways. I understand first hand, being a parent of 6 beautiful adopted children myself, the challenges, emotions, fears, and successes that can come up along the way. I am skilled in attachment & view this as critical to understanding how people develop and navigate relationships. I consider myself an expert in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and can spot these symptoms and behaviors in both children and adults. Early intervention is KEY to successful outcomes.

We specialize in helping those who are struggling with either trauma, addictions, or marital and family issues. I am passionate about supporting all stages of life. I am a birth and death doula with years of experience in the medical field supporting people through grief, infant loss, medical trauma, new diagnoses or end of life care. I feel privileged to witness the vulnerability of the postpartum period and love supporting parents through normal ups and downs or postpartum depression and mood disorders. Other experience includes adoption and foster care, working with people living with HIV, people who use drugs and survivors of sexual violence. As a member of the LGBTQIA community, I proudly serve individuals and families of all identities.

I'm a Pediatrician by training, who has spent the last decade helping children and their families with behavioral health issues (ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc). I take pride in developing a comfortable working relationship with my patients and their parents, which increases the probability of reaching our goals as fast as possible during their crucial developmental years. As a parent myself, I appreciate straight answers and easy to understand explanations. I provide home-based behavioral therapies to the Northwest Arkansas community, working with the families of children 18 months to 18 years of age with challenging behaviors and/or developmental delays. Parent consults are the foundation of the services I provide, empowering you as the parent with the skills to help your child most fully express who they are. I also offer fun, play-based 1-on-1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autistic children to teach them pivotal skills in the areas of communication and behavior reduction. In addition, I can provide telehealth services throughout the state of Arkansas.
