Dear diary, today was a day filled with purpose. I met with a new client, and I'm excited to share my journey with them. You see, I have the privilege of helping South Asian individuals navigate the intricate terrain of their cultural identity, expectations, values, boundaries, communication, and self-growth. This morning, I listened to my client's stories, their triumphs, struggles, their dreams and fears. We explored the threads of their cultural identity, gently untangling them to reveal the rich tapestry beneath. I am a trained ART Therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies.
