Sandstone Care provides substance use, addiction, and mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.

Many times it takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help. When working with people, I work hard to listen to the specific concerns and issues that are important to you as the unique individual that you are. You are a product of your life history and your perspective is integral in the process of achieving a lasting positive change. Often times the issues that people describe are only part of the problem. I can help you gain insight so that you can work towards the goals that you desire.

I realize that you are trusting me with one of your most precious assets, your mental health. I see it being hard to live this life without sustaining some sort of injury. In this way, we can all use help. We are all different in how we interpret the world around us. Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). I'm here to tell you that you don't have to "just live with it" for the rest of your life or rely on sleep medications for a good night's sleep. With CBT-I, you can learn how to respond to insomnia in a more workable way and take back control of your life. I have worked with individuals and families in the field of psychology for over 30 years. My practice is dedicated to providing support to individuals and families. Hello! My name is Jenny Johnson, and during my time as a counselor, I have met many amazing clients, who have inspired me and shown me the power of humanity. I have worked with people who struggle with substance abuse problems, were incarcerated in state prison and county jail, signed themselves into 90 day treatment programs for substance abuse, battled with mental and emotional turmoil, and are trauma survivors. I am honored to work with my clients and it is a position I take very seriously. I also provide clinical supervision for future LPC and/or LAC counselors.

I have over a decade of experience working in the mental health field. I believe that a safe and secure therapeutic experience can be a catalyst for change, growth, and healing.
