Integrative Psychotherapy is a holistic treatment approach that combines elements from different schools of psychotherapy to address your specific needs and help you find internal harmony and a greater sense of wellbeing. As we get to know each other and what might work best for you, it can be tailored to best fit your needs, personality, and goals for your life.

I utilize a wide variety of evidenced-based treatments alongside holistic interventions tailored to the individual or family to help them get from where they are to where they want to be. I work with my clients to accomplish this change by first addressing foundational basics of mental health, working together to address underlying stressors and trauma, and implementing life-changing daily practices to achieve a greater level of functioning. I offer an integrative approach utilizing CBT, ACT, DBT, polyvagal exercises, Somatic Experiencing, attachment-based neuro-affirmative care, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic theory.

For years, clients have responded well to my approach, as I have lived experience in overcoming complex trauma. I truly understand and offer something many clinicians cannot - authentic insights and support strategies that actually work. I provide a judgment-free, compassionate space. I have worked in the mental health arena for my entire adult life. I worked and studied in several Latin American countries but call the Bay Area home. I have an extensive background supporting adolescents, adults and families experiencing anxiety and depression, survivors of trauma including complex trauma, as well as individuals battling addiction.

I work with both children and adults and provide each client with the individualized support they need. I have specialized training in OCD and Brainspotting and work with individuals inflicted by anxiety, depression and life transitions. I also offer parenting support and educational consultation around the IEP process.

My clients are passionate, sensitive, often highly creative people searching for a place where their full self can be witnessed, celebrated, and supported. Sometimes this includes mourning for what was not possible or the intensity of previous experiences they were put through and what that has cost them. My clients tend to struggle with a variety of complex issues. They often come from families with a legacy of unprocessed intergenerational trauma, which can take many forms. Ultimately, clients who seek me are looking for a place to try out new ways of being in the world. Ways that will better support their deepest values.

My adult clients might be feeling disconnected from themselves and others, uncertain about their life path, or just ready for a change. By implementing body-oriented and cognitive-behavioral practices, I will support you in healing old wounds, breaking free from unhelpful patterns, and creating the life that you want.

So often grief and trauma intertwine, and I offer help with the anxiety, vigilance, sleep problems, and relationship stress that often come with overwhelming experiences of trauma. Working with Brainspotting to access these places of trauma, and process them with careful attunement, I can help bring room for new perspectives and grounding in life. I work with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss due to the death of a loved one or an impactful life change. Unaddressed grief can be at the root of the problem. I utilize art therapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and self-care strategies. I believe a supportive therapeutic relationship can support in navigating change, finding solutions, becoming empowered, gaining motivation, and creating your desired changes.
