Even as you come into therapy wanting to change, I understand that change can be difficult and confusing at times. My approach is based on cultivating interpersonal connection and as well as mind/body/soul awareness through helping you deepen and trust your connection to self. From this place, you will find more freedom of choice, feeling of purpose and sense of agency in your life.
I have eighteen years of experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression and addiction-related issues. I use an integrated approach, influenced by current attachment theory and trauma-informed care. I also employ mindfulness and somatic psychotherapy approaches to facilitate healing as well as inner calm and resourcefulness.
I have worked with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and I know we all hold stories which shape who we are. I love working with empaths, highly-sensitive people and those who feel misunderstood. I also relish supporting those who are in a process of transformation and change of any kind.
