As a therapist I am humbled by the complexity of our emotional world. Finding a solution is not always a clear or linear process. My therapeutic style tends to focus on building self-awareness and understanding how past experiences can influence our present ability to cope or make decisions that align with values you may hold. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in outpatient and inpatient levels of care. My specialized experience includes: depression, anxiety, OCD (both child and adult), eating disorders, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling), mood dysregulation, social skill coaching & school refusal.
