I believe it's time for self-inquiry. I've worked in client care for 15 years and believe having a stable foundation in mental health is a requirement for functioning with all we are facing. I utilize a fusion of modalities including somatic work, trauma-informed care, psycho-education, and nervous system support. I work with clients to understand their mind, heart, instinctual & physical selves. I offer experiential / attachment focused somatic counseling, and offer virtual as well as office time. I offer EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I also have a women's pelvic health practice and welcome your outreach.

Additionally, I am an experienced career counselor and guide clients through career transitions and finding fulfillment.

I am always amazed and honored by the wide variety of individuals that enter my office. My strengths are working with adolescents, adults, and couples with all kinds of issues and concerns. I have a long history of working with men covering a wide array of concerns. An important focus of my work over the past 40 years has been work with intimate partners and couples in which one or both are survivors of trauma/abuse.

I am passionate about being able to help others navigate through difficult times and assist them in gaining insight into themselves and the environment around them. Khanhsong Nguyen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree from Smith College School for Social Work. Khanhsong’s therapeutic work is informed by social justice and intersectionality. She is trained psychodynamically and in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), helping clients explore how past experiences and relationships impact how they navigate the world. She has a direct, playful and collaborative approach that will hold clients accountable and challenge clients to create change and build acceptance.

At times we can get lost in figuring out how to navigate the difficulties in our lives, leading to points of “stuckness” which can feel scary, painful, isolating, and defeating.
