I work with couples, families, and individuals (teens, kids, and adults). Do you want to experience things like growth, change, and healing? I help by treating the SOURCE of what you are facing, and I help with the day-to-day and the past of how to deal with the source, so you can be your best self. The source is a ‘root cause’ or a ‘seed’ of how it started.

In my practice, I enjoy working with individuals, couples or families that are looking for assistance with issues and concerns that they have not been able to resolve on their own. As we work together,it is my goal that they would have a desire to accept and explore possibilities that will help them facilate the changes that will give them the satisfacton, relief and freedom they hope for.

I see both therapy and coaching as personal training for the psyche. My ideal client is one that is motivated to talk and work with me to develop deeper understandings of themselves and others and create positive changes within themselves and the systems within which they interact. Dr. Carrie George is a Psychologist in Texas who has been practicing since 1996. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. As a psychologist Dr. George works to empower her clients with the tools needed to make impactful change in their mental health functioning. Being trained as both a School and Clinical Psychologist is beneficial with the population she serves (ages 0-25) because Dr. George is able to help families navigate and advocate for the client's needs within the multiple systems they encounter (i. e. , schools, psychiatric facilities, the family).

Lori Ortiz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas who has been practicing since 2001. She has an M. A. , Guidance and Counseling from University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.A., Early Childhood Education from UTSA. Lori offers support and encouragement to clients as well as teaches them coping skills as they are going through a difficult time in their lives. Lori makes sure clients are treated with compassion, and services are strictly confidential. Outside of work, Lori enjoys reading, gardening, music, Latin/country dancing, and spending time with her mother, children, and grandchildren.
