I have focused training and experience providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and couples. My experience spans several areas, including but not limited to domestic violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, family and relationship challenges, learning challenges, problem-solving skills, building resilience skills, career and vocational guidance, anger and stress management, emotional triggers, and life and resilience skills. I am a 24-year Air Force and Army Veteran with three combat deployments, and I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation.

Dr. Carrie George is a Psychologist in Texas who has been practicing since 1996. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. As a psychologist Dr. George works to empower her clients with the tools needed to make impactful change in their mental health functioning. Being trained as both a School and Clinical Psychologist is beneficial with the population she serves (ages 0-25) because Dr. George is able to help families navigate and advocate for the client's needs within the multiple systems they encounter (i. e. , schools, psychiatric facilities, the family).

Lori Ortiz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas who has been practicing since 2001. She has an M. A. , Guidance and Counseling from University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.A., Early Childhood Education from UTSA. Lori offers support and encouragement to clients as well as teaches them coping skills as they are going through a difficult time in their lives. Lori makes sure clients are treated with compassion, and services are strictly confidential. Outside of work, Lori enjoys reading, gardening, music, Latin/country dancing, and spending time with her mother, children, and grandchildren.

Ross's statement has always sparked a fire within me, as I know from personal and professional experience that strength comes from within and growth comes from pain, sometimes we just need a little help.
