I am passionate about helping people navigate challenging interpersonal relationships, process family of origin trauma, and develop mindfulness skills to cope with OCD, anxiety, phobias, and body image struggles. Many of my adult clients tend to be curious about how their upbringings have shaped them, have some “perfectionistic” or “people-pleasing” tendencies, be part of public service professions (e.g., teachers, social workers, etc.), feel “separate” or “different” from other people, and/or identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also work with children and adolescents using art and play therapy techniques!

It is a pain that can take on many forms (e.g. stress, sadness, loneliness, anxiety, anger, grief, exhaustion) and serves the purpose of bringing to our awareness, aspects of our self that need to be attended to rather than ignored.
