Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University, and since this time have received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing,) an exciting form of therapy which can target trauma, addictions, anxiety disorders, and can improve performance in work and recreational tasks.
I pride myself on providing individualized therapy to clients from a wide variety of cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and ages. I specialize in working with LGBTQI+ clients, and have particularly extensive experience working with transgender and non-binary people, as well as people who are questioning their gender.
I use an eclectic blend of humanistic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness approaches. I am available for both in-person and telehealth sessions. I look forward to getting to know you!
