Eighty years goes by pretty quick, so let’s get on board and make some needed change to improve the quality of your life. Whatever it is that is bothering you, together we will identify, strategize and implement a plan to negotiate the obstacle. We can do this through this cool eclectic model I use. It has a little CBT, some Existential principles and Brief Therapy in the recipe and let me tell you, it works! Plus, it’s way more fun when you have someone you trust to share it with. I am a bilingual licensed mental health counselor, originally from Colombia. I attended Nova Southeastern University where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction and relationship issues.

I believe that most of us have the answers within. My job is to help you remove what stands in the way. Often those obstacles are distorted perceptions about ourselves and others, our obsession with our image and ultimately how we lack love and compassion for ourselves. Therapy with me is a collaborative process that involves a unique therapeutic approach with each client rather than trying to fit my clients into a box using one approach. After an atmosphere of safety and trust is created there is little we will not be able to accomplish.

Emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health are all vital components to humankind and often interconnected. It is my goal to assist in helping each client reach "optimal health" through a variety of positive therapeutic approaches. I believe in helping clients through a holistic approach by understanding how their family, environment, career, values, beliefs, behavior, culture, and many other components combine to make up the person they are today. Dr. Samantha Bickram is a Clinical Psychotherapist who has worked for over 10 years in hospitals and mental health settings. She is passionate about providing counseling services to adolescents, teens, and adults. Dr. Bickram specializes in helping clients to manage stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and confidence issues. Dr. Bickram also helps patients cope with depression, trauma, and parenting issues. She specializes in multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused therapy (SFT).

Dr. lan Silbert is a psychotherapist in the state of Florida who has over 33 years of experience in practise. He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Barry University in 1993 and he is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Silbert attended the University of Windsor and received his MSW in 1988; York University and received his BSW in 1987; and, the University Of Toronto completing a Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Music in 1985.
