I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner supporting individuals and families in addressing mental health challenges. I provide psychotherapy, medication management, and genetic testing for children, adolescents, and adults. As a therapist and prescriber, I strive to develop an environment where patients feel safe to share their most authentic selves and feel empowered to work together toward meaningful solutions. I am a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with experience in evaluating and treating anxiety disorders, depression, various mood disorders such as bipolar, PTSD, neurocognitive and psychotic disorders. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a post-master certificate in psychiatry and mental health. Prior to this I earned my MSN with specialization in women’s health and then my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier University, and worked as a women’s health nurse practitioner and a primary care provider for women. My niche is focusing on issues involving both areas.

Jess is the director of PHHC, a holistic mental health clinic that offers psychiatric, therapeutic, and wellness services. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and certified yoga instructor, and has been working in mental health for over 15 years. She was educated at Brandeis University and Boston College. Her style is holistic and evidence-driven and she enjoys utilizing mindfulness practices in her work to help folks live their lives with full intention. She believes strongly in the mind-body connection and various modalities for healing. She also enjoys exploring foods, cooking, hiking, and art!

In past decade, I observed the mental health crisis culminating while access to help stagnate, or worse - decline. Most people are getting their psychiatric prescription from their general practitioner. This may be enough for some, but not all people affected by mental illness. As a PMHNP, I offer a client-centered, holistic approach in the treatment of mental health across the lifespan. Through comprehensive psychiatric assessments, psychopharmacology, treatment planning, and advocacy, I work with the client to facilitate a positive change. Being culturally sensitive and aware of the cultural and social factors that may impact the client's mental health is a priority in my practice. My approach also emphasizes the importance of self-care practices while encouraging a healthy lifestyle, stress management, and work-life balance.

I have been working in outpatient private practice for 3 years. I have worked with patients across the lifespan, and I have a particular interest in working with young adults as well as older adults/geriatrics. I am experienced in the evaluation and treatment of many mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders including bipolar spectrum disorders. I prioritize establishing a collaborative relationship with the individuals I work with. I hope to help my patients set their own goals and provide the environment and support they need in order to reach those goals.

She has provided psychiatric services in Western Massachusetts since 2013 and feels privileged to reside in our diverse community. She has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in both acute and community outpatient care for Behavioral Health Network Inc. and The Carson Center For Human Services.

Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members.

My ideal client feels lost and misunderstood. They know intuitively that there is an unresolved problem that they can’t quite identify. They feel like they have been going around in circles, with or without professional help. Their treatment for related issues might be ineffective, partially effective but inadequate, effective for a time but not any longer, or intolerable due to side effects. And then, there is trauma. Trauma, past or ongoing, can be a predisposing, precipitating, or perpetuating factor for any person’s presenting problem. I have seen my starred specialties overlap about as often as they occur separately.
