I am a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Having started as an Educator, My Education and training Include a Master’s in psychology, a Master’s in Community and Public health, a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner, CAGS in PMHNP and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. As a Doctorate prepared Psychiatric and Family practitioner, I draw on my knowledge of Nursing, Psychology, Community / Public Health and Education to advocate for and provide the very best solutions for those I serve. Seeking out help can be challenging, so feel proud for taking the first step towards healing. I am a licensed psychiatrist offering medication consultation and management, psychotherapy, and combinations of both. I offer insight-oriented care to people dealing with a wide array of mental health concerns and have special clinical interest in treating survivors of trauma, both physiological and emotional, and early attachment/relationship disruptions. Additionally, I prescribe and provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) to augment work already being done in psychotherapy.

As a Yale trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with a Master's Degree in Psychology, and extensive training in both psychiatry and psychology, I will provide holistic, comprehensive, person-centered care. My commitment to you, is to not only treat the most overt symptoms currently showing up, but explore all contributing factors, and root causes, to develop a deeper understanding of how to best meet your goals. From this full-scope of awareness, and global insight, we will collaboratively work to create an integrative care plan that brings meaningful, sustainable, changes that improve your quality of life, and overall wellbeing.

Leading a fulfilling and happy life can be challenging and may even seem impossible at times. I believe that communicating and connecting via talk therapy is one path towards a happier and more meaningful life. My view is that therapy provides an opportunity to gain insight into one's relationships with one's self, others and society. I use a variety of approaches in my therapeutic work according to what works for each individual person. Together we'll focus on trying to understand the root causes of various problems and repetitive patterns of behavior that are difficult to change.
