I have been practicing general adult psychiatry since 1997 and have extensive expertise in evaluating and treating individuals of all ages, as well as treating a wide variety of emotional and mental conditions that range from mood/anxiety disorders, substance abuse, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and eating disorders to consulting with clients about grief, trauma, work stress, relationship problems, adoption, legal cases, disability, and other major life changing events. I utilize biopsychosocial approach to mental illness that takes into account each individual's physical health, environment, and psychological experiences throughout their life.

My mission is to serve children, teenagers, and adults by providing experienced, compassionate, individualized psychiatric care that helps my patients achieve maximum wellbeing. Yasmin Panjwani is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Florida with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP). Yasmin earned her Master's in Nursing Education (MSN) at University of South Florida and continued her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Yasmin worked as an APRN and provided wide range of healthcare services to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. While providing medical care to patients, developed passion in psychiatry. Yasmin realized that many mental health disorders occur concurrently with medical conditions.

As an experienced and holistic psychiatrist and psychotherapist I enjoy treating adolescents and adults. During my initial evaluation I focus on a whole mind-body connection of an individual. This includes family concerns, dietary habits, environmental issues, social and cultural matters and underlying medical disease that may have an impact on mental health. I provide therapeutic interventions such as psychopharmacological medication management, psychosocial interventions including patient education, supportive and individualized therapy, and referrals to alternative modalities of healing as indicated for the patient.

Dr. Kotadia is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his psychiatry residency training program at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY. After completing training, he has been practicing outpatient psychiatry and specializes in the evaluation and management of major psychiatric disorders including depression, and anxiety. Typically, he offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Kotadia may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
