As an experienced and holistic psychiatrist and psychotherapist I enjoy treating adolescents and adults. During my initial evaluation I focus on a whole mind-body connection of an individual. This includes family concerns, dietary habits, environmental issues, social and cultural matters and underlying medical disease that may have an impact on mental health. I provide therapeutic interventions such as psychopharmacological medication management, psychosocial interventions including patient education, supportive and individualized therapy, and referrals to alternative modalities of healing as indicated for the patient.
During my medical training in Philadelphia, Miami and New York I've had the opportunity to treat a variety of mental health issues and understand people from different backgrounds. I offer individualized treatment through comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Treatment plan is established by focusing on a person, rather than a diagnosis.
I am currently licensed to see patients anywhere in FL and New York. At this time I am completely remote, seeing clients through Facetime and Zoom. I do not accept insurance but many of my patients collect partial reimbursement from their insurance companies as part of their generous out-of-network benefits. I will provide an invoice and necessary documents.
