Mayuly Valdes Hernandez, APRN is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner well trained to assess patients' physical and psychiatry health on acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses and formulate measures to meet patient needs. Mayuly is one of the practitioners breaking the barriers of traditional care, her clinical practice focuses on the humanist philosophy of holistic care for both mind and body. Her style of practice combines a traditional care (prescribing medication) with alternatives medicine as she believes in the mind/body/spiritual connection.

I have experience with all age groups, but prefer adolescence to geriatrics. I sincerely wish my clients to work as a team with me to find the best treatment for them to feel their best. I believe in Mindfulness Therapy. Mental and physical health go hand in hand and I believe both are not separate entities. If one doesn't have good mental health, it will take its toll on physical health and if one doesn't have good physical health it will impact one's mental health.

Dr. Varshney is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Varshney was born and raised in Sikkim, India. She graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Dr. Varshney completed her residency in psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ Elmhurst Hospital Center, in New York City. She then went on to complete a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester, Massachusetts, Department of Law and Psychiatry.

I am an experienced, board certified psychiatrist. I earned my medical degree in 1995 and completed a Residency in adult psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. I then did a 2 year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry I worked as an assistant professor at Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2002-2005. I was then voluntary faculty at the University of Miami, Department of Psychiatry. I have vast experience treating eating disorders, ADHD, and autism, via both medication and/or therapy. I am currently residing in Georgia, and am fluent in Spanish. In addition, I offer telemedicine services.

Lourdes E. Velazquez Perez, ARNP, FNP B-C, is a professionally trained Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in psychiatric services. She is a foreign Medical Doctor who graduated in Cuba from the University of Medicine of Havana, “Calixto Garcia.” She has more than eight years of experience in the medical field. She treats patients with psychiatric conditions like depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and other mental health diagnoses. She is passionate and dedicated to her work and patients’ health outcomes.

The power nature has to heal itself is masterful and should never be underestimated. My goal as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Evolution Psychiatry is to include the most effective, evidence-based practices to assist individuals from a state of dissonance and/or despair to a state of emotional and mental coherence so that they can achieve their highest potential. Dr. Sagar Vijapura is a Harvard trained, board-certified psychiatrist who has expertise in treating the most common mental health issues that can trouble even the highest functioning and most well-meaning people. After working at a level I trauma center and receiving her doctoral degree from Florida State University she practiced psychiatry in Boston with the severely mentally ill population treating disorders ranging from schizophrenia to generalized anxiety disorder and personality disorders. Recently she moved back to Florida to open her private telepsychiatry practice that focuses on the holistic treatment of mental health disorders.
