The world today is complex. It can be overwhelming to navigate relationships, work, school, friends, and readjusting to post-pandemic life. Jacqueline believes you are the expert in your own life, and as such asks you the pertinent questions so that you may find your own unique strategies and solutions. Jacqueline is an empathetic listener, respectful, and kind. She truly cares and wants to help you achieve your goals.

It can be difficult to reach out to a professional to open up about your inner world and learning to trust a therapist can be unnerving. A lot of people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, with little to no opportunity for interaction or authentic connection. Although calling a therapist can be intimidating, I don't believe therapy has to be an intimidating process. I can assure you that as a practitioner, I use a warm empathic approach to connect with in a genuine way. Life is too precious to surrender to unhealthy relationships, low self-worth, addiction, and trauma.

Onward Psychology Group focuses on supporting a wide range of children, adolescents, and adults (and their families) . We believe that we are all complex, life-long learners, but that some people are more complex than others. Anxiety, giftedness, social and academic challenges, and any number of other complexities can result in frustration that affects not only the individual, but the entire family. We focus on discovering the unique strengths of each individual so we can capitalize on those areas while also identifying areas of challenge so we can build on or, as necessary, plan to avoid those areas.

Healing from trauma isn't about "fixing" something that's broken within you; it's a profound unravelling of rediscovering and embracing the parts of yourself that have remained hidden in the shadows of fear and chaos. It's about dismantling destructive patterns created out of survival so that you can reconnect and come home to your authentic SELF. It's about learning to live with a full range of experiences and emotions and feeling as though you are capable, worthy, and enough.
