Kirsten approaches every interaction from a strength-based, trauma-informed perspective. She creates a compassionate, safe, and collaborative environment, supporting individuals' healing and growth journey. Located across from the beautiful Kiwanis Waterfall Park, Kirsten is available in person or virtually.
Kirsten is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and fully incorporates this in her practice. Her practice is further informed by Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Kirsten has also studied trauma-informed yoga professionally.
When Kirsten isn't busy spending time with her husband and dog, she can be found expanding her knowledge. Kirsten has a wide range of interests, including trauma treatment, interventions for anxiety, stress management, and complementary approaches, including yoga, nutrition, and mindfulness.
