I am seeking clients who are motivated to work on their healing journey, who have depression, anxiety, relationship, and / or behavioural problems, who struggle with repetitive thoughts and / or behaviours that interfere with their daily lives, and / or who have experienced trauma (either in childhood or more recently). I operate from a person-centred, attachment-based, and trauma-informed perspective. That means that I believe that you are the expert on your own life and experience, that human beings are hard-wired for connection, and that I am sensitive to the special needs and issues of those who have experienced trauma of any kind.
I consider my role as that of one who walks with you on your healing journey. Emotions may be unpleasant at times, but they are necessary to let us know when we are and aren't safe with people. I can help you to recognize those signals and act appropriately on them, which will improve your relationships with yourself and with others.
