I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with adults who are dealing with stress, burnout, or attention-related difficulties, including ADHD.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, mentally tired, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change. Even when you know what you “should” do, it can feel difficult to follow through or to find a way forward that actually feels sustainable. Many of the people I see have been managing for a long time but are finding that their usual strategies are no longer enough.

I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, depression, ADHD, and life transitions.
Are you tired of trying to change, only to end up feeling stuck or discouraged?
Many of us carry emotional burdens—people-pleasing habits, self-doubt, critical inner voices—that quietly shape our lives. We read the books, try the strategies, but lasting change feels just out of reach. It’s not a lack of willpower. It’s the nervous system doing its best to protect us, even when those old strategies no longer serve us. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand these patterns, and gently make room for something new.

I support neurodivergent ( ADHD, Autistic, and Gifted) and queer/2SLGBTQ individuals, couples, and polycules.
Welcome to the socially-aware hypersensitives seeking a place to share their authentic Truth. The world is incredibly heavy right now and it may be unsafe to put down the masks you've built over time, but you crave a safe and creative space to be accepted as you are. You may feel too much in all your intersectional, confused, imperfect, and resisting-self. Maybe you don't believe in yourself anymore, but you love the magic of stories and creativity. In right relationship, it is absolutely possible to clear the static in your head, to gain clarity and perspective, and to be nourished and strengthened when all feels hopeless.

Human’s have an innate need to be seen, held, and accepted for their reality. Through relationship we offer mirrors to each other, and these mirrors help us build a strong sense of self and grow from our life experiences. Without these mirrors individuals can start to feel invisible. Therapy can help people reflect on many elements of their lives including daily struggles, past or current traumas, systemic violences, spiritual and existential unknowns, neurodivergence, illness, and disability to name a few. In Drama therapy we use talking as well as creativity to help you feel seen and also allow you to play with your reflection.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.
How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.
Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.
How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
