My clinical work spans 30+ years as a private practitioner in the Greater Montreal Region. For 29 years I served as a Psychologist and Department Head at Summit School for the Developmentally Disabled. Additionally, I have worked as a research consultant and lead therapist at The Montreal Children's Hospital Department of Psychiatry (MCH). My work on the team at MCH predominantly focused on identifying effective multimodal treatments for children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Presently, I work adults of all ages in my private practice at the Applied Learning Center in Montreal.
I help patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, PTSD, anger management, self-esteem and self-confidence issues.
I treat individuals using an eclectic approach that includes cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness, schema and solution focused therapies. I endeavour to create a therapeutic atmosphere that is both warm and safe for patients to explore their feelings, behaviours, and new ways of thinking about themselves and the world.
