I am a licensed psychologist with the OPQ. I have worked for over ten years serving preschoolers, children, adolescents, and families in community day treatment, hospital, schools and private practice in Quebec, New York and Michigan. I provide comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to clients who wish to better understand their strengths and weaknesses, including: ADHD, LD, giftedness, intellectual and developmental disabilities. I also provide autism diagnostic assessments for ages 2 yrs. and older, using the ADOS-2 and ADI-R (the Gold Standard of measures for ASD evaluations); I conduct these assessments collaboratively with other professionals to ensure best practices.
I have a doctorate in School/Applied Child Psychology from McGill University, and a master's in Teaching from the University of Louisville, KY. In Montreal, I worked several years at Summit School and the Montreal Oral School for the Deaf, where I cherished contributing to the children's development.
Prevention and early detection of psychological difficulties is the forefront of my practice. It is my hope that you and your child may gain a better understanding of his/her strengths and weaknesses and explore with me possibly obtaining support and resources to improve overall functioning as early as possible.
