Feeling at war with your body? It’s not your fault! You have likely grown up in an environment with harmful messaging around body size and weight. Seeking counselling can be an important and courageous step towards healing the wounds and mending the relationship between body, mind and spirit. I want to first acknowledge you for taking a step in kindness towards yourself and reaching out for support. I focus my counselling work around helping folks with their relationship to their bodies, body image, food, eating, and movement. I take an anti-oppressive, Body Positive approach to my work, centering anti-diet culture and anti-racism.

It's been a lot. I feel it too. the stress, overwhelm, overstimulation, the pressure, the busy brain, the fog, the sense of doom and waves of fear, grief, anxiety and anger - the hopelessness. The longing for things to be different so we can be the parents, the partners, the community members we want to be. You are not broken or alone - although it sure can feel like it for those of us who are queer, trans, fat, broke, neurodivergent, non-monog, kinky, disabled...we have already worked so hard to arrive and stay here! Living is collective work - its better when we do it together. I can't wait to meet you.

Hey! I'm Jenn, your approachable, welcoming, and nonjudgemental counsellor. I believe that the counselling space should be safe enough to allow for vulnerability, but also comfortable enough to share a laugh together! Clients who are the best fit for me are those who are motivated to be cycle breakers and have awareness about what they want differently for their lives. They likely have some flavour as neurodivergence (as I do too!), and don't see themselves as broken but perhaps under-resourced. They approach the counselling space honestly and can unmask and be real with themselves, even if it's for the first time ever.

You’ve been holding it together for everyone else, but inside, you're feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or stuck. Whether it’s the weight of parenting, stress in your relationship, or patterns that keep repeating, you’re ready for something to shift. I work with adults and couples who want more connection, less conflict, and a greater sense of ease. You may not have all the answers, but you know things can't keep going the way they have. If you're longing to feel more grounded, understood, and supported, you're not alone and change is possible.

I support adults seeking counselling for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief and loss, trauma-related concerns, emotional overwhelm, and relationship difficulties. This may also include challenges with boundaries, assertiveness, self-esteem, and confidence. Many people come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or overwhelmed by life transitions and ongoing pressures.

You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself during a period of change or difficulty. Many of the clients I work with are youth (12+) and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image concerns, or major life transitions. You may be juggling school, relationships, identity questions, or expectations while feeling unsure how to cope or where you fit. You’re looking for support that feels steady, collaborative, and grounded rather than clinical or rushed.

People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space to slow down, feel heard, and hear what you’re going through. A strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful therapy, which is why I offer a free 50-minute initial consultation to see if working together feels like the right fit. As a Chinese Canadian therapist, I am mindful of how culture, family expectations, and identity shape emotional well-being, and I welcome clients navigating these experiences. Together, we can explore what’s keeping you stuck and find practical, meaningful ways foward.

You keep up with your work and responsibilities, but inside it’s a constant balancing act. Maybe you lie awake replaying mistakes in your head, try to numb out, or feel mentally and emotionally drained no matter how much you push forward.
