I help couples who want to get to 'the next stage' of their relationship and deepen their connection, but are stuck in problem territory, unable to get past the differences. I also help late 20's/early 30's singles who are struggling with dating, disillusioned by bad relationships, and want to learn to give more of a sh%t about themselves. I've been in the field for 20+ years and began my counselling private practice and website 'Unveiled Stories' in 2015. I tend to fit best with somewhat unconventional folks (whether that's by choice or design).
As a narrative therapist, I don't believe 'you' are the problem. No one is. I work with you as a couple or an individual to define and then externalise problems, so we can talk about them without blame n shame. I can help you improve communication by slowing down your thoughts, feelings and bodily reactions so you can speak and listen as you choose.
If you've had 'the usual' talk therapies before, or even if you haven't, just know I don't have cookie cutter solutions. Whatever ideas we create together are personalised. Based on your words, your feelings, your desires, your needs. Real change can take time, but isn't that worthwhile time? Contact via 'email me' or book direct via my website.
