Our Daytime Intensive Group, (commonly referred to as a Partial Hospitalization Program) is more intensive than traditional outpatient treatment. Teens who require our program are experiencing mental health issues which are preventing them from successfully attending school. These can be anything related to anxiety, depression, or trauma. While many of these symptoms may be challenging, they do not usually require around-the-clock care. Students attend our Daytime Intensive Group for 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM until 3:30PM. During the treatment day, they receive 4 hours of group therapy and 2 hours of education support, to ensure they don't fall behind in school.

We take a values-driven, but secular, approach to working with our clients focusing on not just their chief complaint but supporting every aspect of their life. We treat general mood issues, anxiety, stress, identity, relationship, and behavioral issues. We have several providers available for in-person or virtual sessions.

Hermitage Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are battling symptoms of opioid addiction. MAT integrates the use of prescription medication and counseling sessions to treat both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. Through individual and group therapy sessions at Hermitage CTC, you can learn to address the psychological components of addiction by engaging in discussions with counselors and peers. One-on-one conversations with our counselors can help you uncover underlying causes of substance abuse, address how to navigate challenges moving forward, and identify what you hope to achieve during treatment. Group therapy sessions provide an opportunity for patients to deeply connect with other adults who may be facing similar struggles and support one another along the way. The use of prescription medication can keep you comfortable physically by mitigating the symptoms of withdrawal so that you are able to focus on your journey to healing. MAT has been researched and proved to be a successful means of care that yields long-term recovery.

TrustPoint Hospital offers comprehensive inpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older. Our hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, serves patients who have developed anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. We have organized our inpatient program into several units, including an affective disorders unit, a co-occurring disorders unit, and a senior psychiatry unit for older adults who are struggling with dementia and other age-related conditions. This structure is one part of our efforts to ensure that each patient receives the focused care that can best address their unique needs. Additional features of inpatient care at our hospital include thorough intake assessments, personalized treatment plans, evidence-based services, and round-the-clock supervision, all provided by a team of dedicated professionals. Also, before a patient leaves our hospital, they receive a detailed discharge plan. These personalized plans identify the professional services and community-based resources that can help them maintain and build on the progress they make with us.

Detoxification, which is commonly referred to as detox, is a safe way to eliminate alcohol, opioids, and other addictive drugs from a person’s body. At TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, we offer both medical and nonmedical detox services. Detox can be an essential step on a person’s path to recovery. When a person develops an addiction to certain substances and they then try to stop using these substances, they may experience considerable physical and psychological pain. This is known as withdrawal. In some cases, withdrawal can be extremely dangerous or even deadly. But when a person starts their recovery journey in a detox program, they can get through withdrawal safely and with minimal discomfort. People who participate in detox at our hospital benefit from 24-hour care provided by a team that may include physicians, registered nurses, and other treatment providers. Depending on the nature and severity of their struggles with addiction, people in our detox program may receive therapeutic support, prescription medications to ease discomfort, and other services as needed. Typical length of stay in our detox program is five to seven days.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, serves adults age 18 and older who have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental health concerns. Group therapy is the main method of treatment in our IOP. A typical treatment day includes multiple groups, all of which are led by licensed therapists. Groups focus on a variety of topics, such as anger management, communication skills, stress management, healthy boundaries, grief and loss, and disease/disorder education. We also offer experiential therapy groups, which may include yoga, meditation, music therapy, aromatherapy, and role-playing. Patients who have been experiencing symptoms that can be treated with prescription medication may also receive medication management services while they are in our IOP. The standard schedule for this level of care includes three hours of treatment three days per week, for a total of nine weekly hours of care. Typical length of stay in the IOP at TrustPoint Hospital is eight to 12 weeks.
