We are a group of mental health professionals - psychologists, mental health counselors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners - who will help you deal with circumstances that hinder the quality of your life and relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. We are a general practice, but specialize in assessment and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism spectrum, attention deficit, and other developmental disorders of childhood. Our staff, directed by Floyd Robison, Ph.D. and Beth Robison, MS, LMHC is a group of talented clinicians providing a variety of counseling styles. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Thomas Harmes, RN, MSN, PNMHC, has extensive experience in child and adult mental health medicine. We have three convenient locations, in Greenwood (633 Library Park Drive, Suite K), Martinsville, and Bloomington, Indiana. Teletherapy and telemedicine services for Indiana residents also are available. We offer therapy services in Spanish at our Bloomington and Martinsville offices, and interpreter services in Spanish at all three offices (21 day advance notice required for interpretive services).

Selah House is committed to providing clinically excellent and Christ-centered care for women and girls (ages 12+) struggling with an eating disorder. Selah's program provides medical monitoring, psychiatric care, individual therapy, family therapy, groups, equine assisted psychotherapy, art therapy, nutritional counseling, spiritual counseling, and more. The common thread that runs through all Selah programs is our love for our clients and their families, and our complete dedication to their healing. We provide a safe place for clients to explore the truth of who they are and who God is without feeling pressured to believe a certain way.

At Maple Heights Behavioral Health, we offer a leading inpatient program for adolescents ages 12-18. Our adolescent inpatient program serves youths who are struggling with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Inpatient treatment can be ideal for young people who have acute concerns and can benefit from crisis intervention. Our adolescent inpatient program has a typical length of stay of five to seven days, but a young person may remain in our care for the length of time that best fits their needs. When your child takes part in our adolescent inpatient program in Fort Wayne, Indiana, they will receive an individualized treatment plan that outlines the elements of care that can best meet their needs and support their therapeutic goals. A young person’s treatment plan may include medication management services, individual therapy, family therapy, and basic medical care. We also offer daily group therapy sessions for patients. Our goal is to deliver intensive support and prepare each adolescent for continued success.

Aftercare planning begins from the moment someone is admitted to our treatment center. Options Behavioral Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults ages 18-65 who are suffering from mental health conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder, depression, and co-occurring substance use concerns. Our IOP is ideal for individuals who have completed a higher level of care, like an inpatient treatment program, but can benefit from continued support. Adults who participate in the IOP at our hospital receive three hours of treatment, three days a week. Patients typically take part in our IOP for four to six weeks, but each person’s needs, progress, and goals determine their actual length of stay. Each adult in our IOP receives a personalized care plan that guides them through treatment. Patients participate in a variety of group therapies during each treatment day that cover topics relevant to adults, such as stress management techniques, relapse prevention strategies, self-care, forming healthy relationships, and psychoeducation.

Dawn McDonough is a graduate of Purdue University’s Mental Health Counseling program.  She also received certification in Expressive Arts and Addictions. She has worked with adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient programs, as well as in private practice.  Ms. McDonough uses an eclectic approach with her primary focus being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She has worked with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem, stress-management, and substance abuse. “I try to empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve life satisfaction.”

Since 1883, Crossroad has focused on the mission of creating promising futures for children and families. Today, our family directed programs concentrate on providing behavioral health treatment, education programs, and support services tailored to client needs and strengths. Crossroad residential programs for children and youth, ages 6 to 21, are offered on our Fort Wayne campus. Our programs include Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Secure Intensive Treatment, Open Residential Programming, and Diagnostic Evaluation. Our residential programs are available to all qualified children and referrals are accepted from judges, youth serving professionals, educators, counselors, parents, and others. Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization for adults and adolescents (ages 13 to 17) and medical detoxification services for adults. Our mental and behavioral health program addresses issues such as: suicidal ideations, self-harm, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, co-occurring disorders and trauma accompanied by behavioral and mental health issues. We currently offer detox services for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. We also offer both psychiatric and dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both adults and adolescents.

Maple Heights Behavioral Health is a premier provider of inpatient programming for adults age 18 and older who have mental health concerns and addictions. We treat mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. And we provide expert addiction care for people who are struggling with the use of substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, heroin, and cocaine. Inpatient treatment provides the chance for patients to stabilize, improve crisis symptoms, and receive a plan for continuing care. Adults remain in our inpatient program for about five to seven days, though their exact length of stay usually depends on their individual progress. When you participate in our adult inpatient program, you can receive support from a team of caring professionals who are dedicated to meeting your needs and facilitating a safe treatment environment. The experts you may work with include doctors, registered nurses, social workers, counselors, and nurse practitioners. Our inpatient treatment center also employs recreational therapists and a dietitian to support patients on their personal paths to healing.
