The residential treatment center is for troubled teen girls ages 14-18. It is ideally suited for teenagers struggling with a variety of problems, including issues related to adoption or attachment; abuse recovery; depression; PTSD; identity or body image issues; conflicts with peers, parents or authority; social isolation or rejection; mild self-harm and school troubles. The program is not a match for teenagers with severe self-harm or suicidal behaviors, history of frequent violent aggression, pervasive developmental disorders or psychotic disorders. Similar to therapeutic boarding schools in other states, Compass Rose Academy’s residential treatment center is not an intensive substance abuse program but offers support and education to young people struggling with alcohol and/or drug abuse.

Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Indianapolis Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an addiction to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is different from other forms of outpatient care because it combines the use of medication and counseling. The prescription medications used in MAT have shown to decrease the severity of the withdrawal symptoms that often occur when someone stops using opioids. With decreased withdrawal symptoms, patients can focus on the therapeutic component of MAT and are less likely to begin using illicit drugs again. Counseling gives adults the opportunity to process past trauma, address negative emotions, and discuss other mental health concerns that may have contributed to their opioid use. Receiving MAT also lessens their risk for being involved in drug-related violence, getting into financial or legal trouble, and contracting infectious diseases. With effective medication and counseling, individuals can take the first step toward recovery.
