At our Fort Wayne, Indiana, treatment center, seniors typically remain in our inpatient program for about seven to 10 days. However, your precise length of stay will depend on your individual needs and the progress you make while in treatment. Since 1883, Crossroad has focused on the mission of creating promising futures for children and families. Today, our family directed programs concentrate on providing behavioral health treatment, education programs, and support services tailored to client needs and strengths. Crossroad residential programs for children and youth, ages 6 to 21, are offered on our Fort Wayne campus. Our programs include Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Secure Intensive Treatment, Open Residential Programming, and Diagnostic Evaluation. Our residential programs are available to all qualified children and referrals are accepted from judges, youth serving professionals, educators, counselors, parents, and others. Maple Heights Behavioral Health is a premier provider of inpatient programming for adults age 18 and older who have mental health concerns and addictions. We treat mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. And we provide expert addiction care for people who are struggling with the use of substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, heroin, and cocaine. Inpatient treatment provides the chance for patients to stabilize, improve crisis symptoms, and receive a plan for continuing care. Adults remain in our inpatient program for about five to seven days, though their exact length of stay usually depends on their individual progress. When you participate in our adult inpatient program, you can receive support from a team of caring professionals who are dedicated to meeting your needs and facilitating a safe treatment environment. The experts you may work with include doctors, registered nurses, social workers, counselors, and nurse practitioners. Our inpatient treatment center also employs recreational therapists and a dietitian to support patients on their personal paths to healing.

The residential treatment center is for troubled teen girls ages 14-18. It is ideally suited for teenagers struggling with a variety of problems, including issues related to adoption or attachment; abuse recovery; depression; PTSD; identity or body image issues; conflicts with peers, parents or authority; social isolation or rejection; mild self-harm and school troubles. The program is not a match for teenagers with severe self-harm or suicidal behaviors, history of frequent violent aggression, pervasive developmental disorders or psychotic disorders. Similar to therapeutic boarding schools in other states, Compass Rose Academy’s residential treatment center is not an intensive substance abuse program but offers support and education to young people struggling with alcohol and/or drug abuse.

The program provides a structured secure environment for young clients who require an intensive therapeutic milieu. Resource Treatment Center specializes in caring for young people who have exhibited maladaptive behaviors or psychiatric concerns, including inappropriate conduct, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), impulsivity, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, and sexual reactivity. Resource Treatment Center offers a program for male clients ages 12 to 20 who have developmental delays and behavioral problems. Our Rapid 3-Day Opiate Detox Procedure is for patients addicted or dependent on heroin, pills, Suboxone, Methadone, and Fentanyl and Kratom. Day 1- patient completes intake paperwork, lab work, physical & psychological exam, and stress test if over 40. We include a private room, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WIFI and all catered meals are included. Day 2- patient is taken to the Procedure Room, under the care of Award Winning, Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Dr. Julia Aharonov. The patient receives IV Sedation and sleeps through withdrawals while closely monitored by the nursing staff. After the opiate reversal, the patient receives an FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection. Day 3- The patient comes back to their private room with 24-hour medical staff, and rests and recuperates for the day. If they experience any post-acute withdrawals, they are given non-addictive medications and receives those medications to take home. The next morning, after meeting with Dr. Aharonov, they are free to go home. Once your detox is complete, you are eligible for our detox-related aftercare. Financing is available.
